When I saw Feyi's photo on Beauty Cook's (her make-up artist) instagram page, the word that immediately popped to my mind was - stunning!
So imagine my delight when she sent me a link to her beautiful wedding photos captured by an extremely talented wedding photographer Lumi. There really is nothing like the right selection of vendors, from their dreamy reception décor (done by Aquarian Touch) to her flawless make-up, I loved every bit of their wedding.
Wishing Feyi and Sanmi a long married life as beautiful and vibrant as their wedding!
Part two of Yetunde and Segun's big day started with a small Nikah ceremony. Their beautiful 'under the sea' themed reception followed with gorgeous decor by Aquarian Touch. Yetunde's advise for future brides is to plan ahead, be calm and have loads of fun
Yetunde and Segun tied the knot recently, starting with an engagement ceremony at ASSO Club House. The happy couple met through a mutual friend a year and a half ago, and as the saying goes before one could utter the word 'JACK' they were engaged and happily planning their wedding. The following vendors were on hand to make their day a success
The intense whirlwind that lasted for ten months and swept them off their feet, didn't stop until Mr and Mrs Emiko tied the knot recently at a colourful ceremony in Lagos. The couple who started dating three months after they met, were a mere four months into their relationship when Kelly proposed. Ifeoma who planned both weddings herself, chose Havilah hall of Events and KFA Events Centre Lekki for her traditional and white weddings respectively which held a day apart.
There was instant chemistry when Jummai met Chris for the very first time. It was at the launch of the Sugar Weddings website which took place at Federal Palace on the 24th of October, 2008. The duo quickly became an official couple a few months later.
Fast-forward four years later, Chris popped the question when he whisked Jummai away on a romantic getaway to Turkey and London, wedding plans quickly went underway and the traditional wedding date was set for April 2013.
Linda and Segun's nuptial celebrations continued with a destination wedding in Abu Dhabi, where the St. Regis, Saadiyat Island provided the perfect backdrop to the wedding reception.
In today’s world where some things are considered outdated, Segun got down on one knee in his room (a very private version of the traditional way) and asked Belinda to marry him.
The proposal came one year after they met and immediately started dating and though it took them a year and a half to conclude the walk down the aisle, they ended it with speed and aplomb sparing no more than six days between both weddings. They celebrated their traditional ceremony in Lagos while the white destination wedding, held in Abu Dhabi.
We got the best of both worlds with a traditional wedding in Nigeria followed by; an activity packed destination wedding in Mauritius with a 160 of our closest friends and family.
