In today’s world where some things are considered outdated, Segun got down on one knee in his room (a very private version of the traditional way) and asked Belinda to marry him.
The proposal came one year after they met and immediately started dating and though it took them a year and a half to conclude the walk down the aisle, they ended it with speed and aplomb sparing no more than six days between both weddings. They celebrated their traditional ceremony in Lagos while the white destination wedding, held in Abu Dhabi.
The couple who met through mutual friends, chose magenta and silver for the traditional ceremony and for the white wedding, peach and cream.
