Factors To Consider When Choosing A Wedding Date

It's date and time that determines the existence of an event.
That is, an event without a date and time cannot be known because it is only considered to be abstract.

However, before choosing a wedding date, certain factors must be considered to ensure the date is favorable and convenient for the two parties involved in the ceremony.

Here are five important ones.

1. The bride's menstrual cycle
The bride's menstrual cycle is an essential factor, so, it is advisable to calculate her menstrual cycle and discover when the next ovulation period falls on to avoid the mistake of picking a date that matches with it.

This is because you don't want to be worried about your dress getting stained, or want to be cranky/dull on your day.

Also, you wouldn't want to lose the wedding night excitement.

2. Consider the weather of the day
The weather is super important, especially if you are planning an outdoor wedding.

Generally, it is recommendable to avoid choosing a date in the rainy season because honestly, no one wants heavy downpour of rain on their big day.

3. Confirmation of date with the relevant bodies

If you are having a religious wedding, make sure to confirm that your proposed date works with their calendar.

You don't want to pick a date, circulate and they turn you back because they have an event for the day. Save yourself the stress or the rush, by confirming ahead of time.

4. Your financial status
This entails the amount of income you have available for the wedding ceremony.

It's responsible, to ensure you have at least half of the money needed for the wedding before picking a date for your big day. Certain things must be paid before announcing the date. (e.g. the hall).

5. Work
Last but very vital, you should put your work schedule/leave plan into consideration. Some professions are known for giving impromptu jobs, and couples that work for these organizations should make an early notice to the organizational head to avoid any form of an unplanned work trip.
