Wedding gifts are nice and everybody loves to receive them but not when it’s a bad gift. So what qualifies as a bad gift? Have you ever got one of these and thought “Wow, what were they thinking?” Here are ten of the worst wedding gifts you definitely should avoid giving any married couple:
(These have actually been given to real people!)
Regifted Crockery
If it’s been opened don’t bother. How can you package a set of China that has been in use for the past two years? It’s a bad gift and it doesn’t matter if your grandma bought it on a luxurious holiday.
Inappropriate Books
A bad gift comes in the form of a book with the title “How to hit her G-spot” or about getting your spouse to change religion or a book on ways to handle divorce.
Past Wedding Memorabilia
If it is a gift from another wedding, really, just forget it. Don’t give gifts from your wedding, the couple may have been there or know other people that attended.

Bounced Cheque
If you want to offer monetary gifts, give cash when it's safe to do so or make a transfer. This way, you know exactly what is leaving your account at a time that you are liquid enough to present this gift.
Exercise Equipment
The last thing you would want is to indirectly tell the couple that they need to shed a few pounds, especially the bride. There is no classy way to present a skipping rope and a yoga mat in red ribbons to your friends on their wedding day.

Raw Food
5 kg of raw shaki (tripe) in a cooler at Landmark? You must be joking! Only give raw food if you are close to the couple when you know they are about to go food shopping for a housewarming party. Even then, find out what’s on the list and don’t buy a random box of “Ice Fish”.
Lingerie
This is an appropriate gift given by friends of the bride during a bridal shower but not from your grand aunty on your wedding day!

A child you no longer want
Can any one spell awkward? You can laugh, but this has happened. Just because you overheard the couple saying that they would like to adopt a child as soon as they get married does not mean you should offer your annoying ward up for adoption. At that very moment, you would lack class.
In no particular order, these are the top ten worst wedding gifts that you should NEVER give to anyone in different circumstances! Stick to the wedding registry, its safer.
