Eid means festivity and it is one special event for muslims. Typically, on the day of Eid, Muslims generally greet each other, have a small breakfast before attending a special Eid prayer that is performed in congregations at mosques or open areas like fields, squares etc. Muslims are encouraged to dress in their best attires (new if possible) for the occasion. Most people wear the basic Abaya or kaftans to attend Eid prayers then change into something a fancier for entertainment of guests or visitations.
Whether as a Muslim or as someone attending an Eid celebration, it can be a little overwhelming trying to decide your Eid outfit. A big part of getting it right is dressing for the occasion, dressing modest.
