Except you have been under a rock you know the gay marriage was legalised in all fifty (50) states of the USA last month. This ruling is a historic victory to the gay rights movement in the USA.
Not everyone is smiling though, countless businesses and individuals have refused to provide services for same sex weddings and have come under a great deal of fire for it.
In a particular case, bakers who refused to make a wedding cake for a same sex couple were ordered to pay $135,000 in emotional damages to the couple they denied service.
Is this a step too far? Should wedding professionals anywhere be forced to provide services to clients whose lifestyles they strongly disagree with?
