Know Your Band Measurement
Wear a non-padded bra, using a measuring tape, measure around the bottom of the band (underbust). The measuring tape should be level and very firm. Round to the nearest whole number. If the number is even, add four inches. If it’s odd, add five. Your band size is the sum of this calculation. Example: You measured 34 inches, your band size would be 38. If you measured 33 inches, your band size would be 38.

One of my most bizarre sights is going to the market and seeing grown women trying out bras at an open market…What???
Seriously, I really don’t want to see the size of your breast. My worry most times aside the embarrassment of "testing" a bra in an open market is centered around the possibility of the "bra tester" not actually buying the "tested bra" which means somebody else could come and "re-test" eventually leaving the bra for a random innocent well knowledgeable woman who knows her size to buy it. Let me spare you details of my imaginations. Anyway, to avoid this is to simply know your bra size. Here are tips on how to know your bra size.
Take Your Bust Measurement
Take the measuring tape around your nipple level not too tight not to loose. Get the nearest whole number.

Calculate The Cup Size
Subtract your band (underbust) measurement from your bust measurement. The difference you get is your Cup Size.
Example: 37 inches (bust) – 34 inches (band) = 3 inches. That’s a 34c.
