Bayo stumbled on Lola's picture in 2011 through a mutual friend's Page on Facebook and he developed an interest in her.
As most ladies would naturally react, she didn’t show any interest until after series of lengthy conversations and persuasions.
Finally, Bayo flew into Lagos after eight years in Kenya and the United Kingdom to make his intentions known then proposed to her at Forgo Gaucho Brazilian restaurant, in Nairobi Kenya. This took place on the 21st of July 2014 during Lola's second visit to Kenya.
