We are always on the lookout for Nigerian (and other African) wedding dress designers, so we were pleasantly surprised when we stumbled upon UK trained Aniké Midelė who has worked with renowned fashion houses including Alexander McQueen, Richard Nicoll, Proenza Shouler and more.
According to the designer:
"...The Autumn/Winter 2016 collection features 7 tier layers of scalloped beaded lace edges, boleros, exaggerated two metre trains, crystal beaded lace, ball gown elements of pearl and stone beading, crystalized satin, corsets, cathedral trains, floral lace, beaded star jewelled illusion necklines, sweetheart necklines, mermaid and fish tail styles and guipure cut lace.
Constructed to be more aesthetic and visceral each wedding dress is crafted to allow Aniké Midelė brides to have their own fairy tale moment...."
