The engagement season is upon us, and not everyone can help not wanting to know if their partner is thinking of popping the question.
Before you mentally get ready to change your status from “In a Relationship” to “Engaged,” take a look at these tell-tale signs that your partner is about to get down on one knee.
1. If he is suddenly on a tight budget.
(Rings are not cheap, and he might be cutting some other relationship luxuries like an impromptu weekend getaway, expensive date nights, and so on so he can afford a good ring.)
2. One of your rings goes missing suddenly.
You are sure you left it somewhere, but you can't find it? He is probably doing a little detective work to know your ring size.
3. Your friends and family members are asking a lot of questions about your jewellery preference.
They were sent by your boyfriend to find out what your choice of jewellery is.
4. He is more affectionate lately.
When he is more lovey-dovey in recent times than he has been, he might just be warming up to the idea of popping the question.
5. When he is full of questions.
If he is asking you more questions recently, especially as regards your love for accessories, and if you are a diamond or a sapphire lady; that’s a big clue right there.
6. He is talking to your family and friends almost too much in recent times.
7. Your timing and schedule are now extremely important to him.
8. He now guards his phone and computer/laptop a lot much, obviously trying to make sure you don’t see something.
9. He talks more about your future together pretty often.
10. Your friends and family pick up their phones quite fast when you call now.
11. He begins to act very nervously when you are around, almost like you are on a first date.
12. He keeps asking about your passport details and wants you to go on a trip he planned all by himself.
13. He starts commenting on your friends' rings or generally about rings on the internet.
14. He suggests you get your nails done or just books you a spa day gift.
15. Your parents suddenly begin to act more interested in him and details about your time with him.
16. Your sister or best friend is his new best friend.
17. When the term marriage pops up, he acts weird.
18. He wants to spend a big holiday alone with you.
19. Your birthday or anniversary is approaching, and he is acting very weird, stressed or nervous about it.
20. He is more interested in your style a little more than usual in recent times.
21. He disappears and re-appears with no solid details of his day.
22. His wardrobe or lockers or any other part of his house becomes a place he isn’t comfortable you search. (He is probably hiding the ring there).
23. All his friends are married or engaged; and he is all of a sudden interested in marriage.

27. He wants to confirm all your favorites.
