PROCEDURE
- Boil your yam until it's soft, then boil the over riped plantain too.
- When that's done, you put d yam in a mortar and start pounding (just like you're making pounded yam). When the yam has been properly marshed you can then add the plantain and continue pounding so the plantain would mix well with the yam.
- After that, add a little palm oil and pound a little more and your ONUNU is set to be served with pepper soup!
- Then to prepare the pepper soup: Simply boil the fish with the mixed pepper soup spices. Add a little salt and seasoning to taste.
