A flower girl usually precedes the maid of honour and the bride bearing flowers.
Asides from being totally adorable in that cute little dress, she is usually accompanied by a ring bearer if available. A flower girl is optional but its fun to include the little girls in the family to the bridal party.
The flower girl is traditionally known to scatter rose petals on the aisle for the entrance of the bride. Also , she is known to bring smiles on the guest's face with her charm.
